What is Undifferentiated Schizophrenia,Undifferentiated Schizophrenia is a type of Schizophrenia in which there are no peculiar symptoms of it but it’s mixed up with any of the symptoms of Schizophrenia. It can be characterised by any general symptoms of Schizophrenia but do not fix under any specific type or subtype of Schizophrenia.

This type of Schizophrenia is not easy to diagnose as the doctor or the psychiatrist first have to be confirmed with the diagnosis of Schizophrenia in the patient. When the psychiatrist has diagnosed with Schizophrenia then he shall proceed further for other diagnosis to classify the type or subtype of Schizophrenia, but if the symptoms’ existence or frequency doesn’t fit with any of the types of Schizophrenia because the symptoms are randomized and fit multiple subtype categories then Undifferentiated Schizophrenia may be the diagnosis.

There are no specific symptoms of Undifferentiated Schizophrenia. With this type of Schizophrenia a person can exhibit with general symptoms but not with the specific ones to be diagnosed with any of the type or subtype of Schizophrenia.

The symptoms can be a mixture of Delusions, Hallucinations, Disorganization, Flat Affect, Low Energy, Paranoia, Poor Insight, Psychomotor Slowing or Social Withdrawal.

It I yet not discovered for the actual reasons or causes of Schizophrenia be it any type or subtype. It is a total mind game which is and can never be understood by anyone, be it a highly qualified & experienced doctor or psychiatrist.

As per the various research and cases, Schizophrenia is caused by the genetic and environmental triggers. When a person faces traumatic experiences in the early ages exposures to toxins, and brain development abnormalities can contribute to the mental illness. As per the various studies, there are a number of theories but no concrete evidence regarding the causes of Schizophrenia, be it any type or subtype too.
